GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 18165 of 2021 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents especially respondent Nos.4 and 5 in calling the petitioners to the police station frequently to take the petitioners' photographs and thumb impressions without passing any orders on their representation dated 05.03.2018 which is submitted as per directions of this Hon'ble Court dated 08.02.2018 passed in W.P.No.4104 of 2018 as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the petitioners' representation dated 05.03.2018 in pursuance of the orders dated 08.02.2018 passed in W.P.No.4104 of 2018….” 2. Heard Sri Seshadri Goalla, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that rowdy sheet was opened against the petitioners high handedly. The petitioners have challenged the same by filing a Writ Petition in W.P.No.4104 of 2018. As directed by this Court vide Orders dated 08.02.2018 in W.P.No.4104 of 2018, the petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondent No.3 dated 05.03.2018, which is pending for consideration before the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent has not taken any decision over the matter. He would further submit that the cases which are pending against the petitioners are relating to 4 family disputes and no other cases are pending against them. He would finally submit that let there be a direction to the respondent No.3 for disposal of the representation. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioners is pending and the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 5. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the respondent No.3 is directed to take appropriate decisions over the representation of the petitioners according to law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of this Order. There shall be no order as to costs.
