This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Sri Jiban Biswas, son of Sri Nagen Biswas, seeking bail in Bhuragaon P.S. Case No. 74/2024 Page No.# 2/2 registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/25/29 of NDPS Act corresponding to G.R. No. 1050/2024, wherein he was arrested on 25.08.2024 and is in custody since then. By order dated 09.12.2024, the Court called for the scanned copy of the relevant case diary and fixed the matter today, i.e., 07.01.2025. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instructions submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in the said Bhuragaon P.S. Case No. 74/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 98/2024 dated 30.11.2024. In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Bhuragaon P.S. Case No. 74/2024.
