Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:83754 Court No. - 9 Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 1837 of 2024 Petitioner :- Kedarnath Respondent :- State Of Up And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Mohd. Sarwar Khan Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. Through this writ petition, the petitioner has questioned the proceedings of mutation. The appellate court has dismissed the appeal on the ground that title of petitioner cannot be decided in mutation proceedings which are only summary proceedings. It is well settled that mutation proceedings are summary in nature and no title of the parties can be decided. A regular suit is to be filed for determining the title of the property in dispute. No case for interference is made out. Writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Order Date :- 19.5.2025 V.S.Singh Digitally signed by :- VIDYA SAGAR SINGH High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
