The petitioner was appointed on contractual basis to the post of Clerk on 16.06.2006 on compassionate grounds. Allegedly, due to prolonged absence from duty, his services were terminated on 13.07.2017 in an illegal manner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that representation dated 29.06.2025 (Annexure P-12) has been preferred by the petitioner to respondent No.2/Competent Authority seeking his reinstatement in service, however, no decision has been taken thereupon till date. -2- 3. Looking to the nature of the grievance raised in this writ petition, it would in the interest of justice to direct Competent Authority to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner Annexure P-12 in accordance with law and as per applicable policy within a period of six weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
