JUSTICE MANASH RANJAN PATHAK 22/01/2025 Heard Mr. M Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2. The petitioner, namely, Akbar Ali, son of Late Hachamat Ali, has filed this application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Uriamghat P.S. Case No. 18/2024 registered under Sections 21(C)/29 of NDPS Act, 1985. 3. Earlier the petitioner preferred another pre-arrest bail application being AB No. 2583/2024 in said Uriamghat P.S. Case No. 18/2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 64/2024, which was rejected by this Court on 06.11.2024. 4. Since charge-sheet has already been filed, on instruction of the petitioner, Mr. Ahmed, learned counsel is not pressing this pre-arrest bail application, as the petitioner intends to prefer an appropriate bail application before the concerned Trial Court. 5. Accordingly, this pre-arrest bail application, being not pressed, stands dismissed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
