Also heard Mr. Zoramchhana, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3. The interlocutory application has been filed by the applicant/insurance company under Order XLI Rule 5 r/w Section 151 of CPC, 1908, for stay of the impugned judgment and order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the learned Member-cum-Presiding Officer, MACT, Aizawl in MACT Case No. 01/2021. The main appeal has been admitted. The applicant/insurance company in terms of the order of this Court has deposited 50% of the awarded amount and the claimants who are respondent Nos. 1 to 3 in the main appeal have also been permitted to receive the deposited amount from the Registry subject to the usual formalities. Page No.# 4/4 In the given facts and circumstances, till disposal of the appeal, the judgment and order dated 05.03.2025 passed in MACT Case No. 01/2021 of MACT, Aizawl, shall remain stayed.
