Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State. 3. Perused the record. On 12.07.2024, a case in Crime No. 103 of 2024 of Kothacheruvu Urban Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District was registered for the offence punishable under Section 318(4) of BNS. 2 Having heard both sides, it is seen that the offences are punishable with imprisonment of seven years and less than seven years. It is, in these circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section 35(3) of BNSS scrupulously and all the directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and other related rulings. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
