During the course of hearing, Mr. S. Suresh, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, informs this Court that in compliance of the order dated 21-08-2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 580 of 2024, respondent No. 2 has issued a speaking order dated 30-01-2025 and hence, since the direction of this Court has already been complied with, the contempt case has become infructuous. Recording the submission made at the Bar, the contempt case is closed as infructuous. However, Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, submits that he may be granted liberty to challenge the speaking order, if so advised. Liberty is granted.
