Page No.# 2/3 Alim Hussain, claimant, herein, and the respondents Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited, represented by Mr. Nayan Choudhury, AM, are present before the Court today. The claimant is represented by Mr. S. Muktar. It is submitted by both the claimant and the Insurance Company’s representatives that this matter is settled between the parties at an amount of Rs. 5,36,584/-. It is to be noted that the Insurance Company had already paid an amount of Rs. 3,46,584/- to the claimant. The Insurance Company shall deposit the balance amount of Rs. 1,90,000/- within a period of 45 days from today before the learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Goalpara, Assam. Failure to deposit the above-noted amount within the stipulated time by the Insurance Company, the above amount would carry an interest @ 7% from the date of filing of the claim petition before the learned Tribunal. The said amount of Rs. 1,90,000/- shall be released to the claimant, herein, by the learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Goalpara, Assam, upon furnishing of adequate documents for his identification as well as the particulars of his Bank Account. The appeal, accordingly, stands disposed of in terms of the amicable settlement reached between the parties. The compromise format signed by the parties is kept on record.
