Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sahibganj (Town) P.S. Case No. 18 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No. 291 of 2024, S.T. No. 259 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302 / 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-III, Sahibganj. 3. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 9593 of 2024 by order dated 05.03.2025. 4. On 12.02.2024, husband of the informant, namely, Raju Kumar Chandan, was shot dead by two unknown persons. During course of investigation, it transpired that the informant was also involved in murder of her husband. It appears that on the basis of confession of this petitioner and other co-accused, firearm which was used in committing murder of the deceased was recovered. 5. The recovered firearm was sent for forensic examination. It appears that the weapon, which was recovered on the basis of confession of the petitioner was used in committing the murder of the deceased. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, her prayer for bail is rejected. 7. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
