Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties. Both these appeals are directed against the order dated 03.07.2025 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Dhanbad in B.P. No. 502 of 2025, arising out of Railway Dhanbad PS Case No. 34 of 2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellants has been rejected. It has been alleged that the appellants were apprehended from the Dhanbad Railway Station and 17 minor girls were recovered who were said to be on the verge of boarding Alleppi Express for being taken to work in S.P. Apparels Ltd.
Submission has been advanced by the learned senior counsel for the appellants that they are in custody since 10.05.2025. It has been submitted that all the appellants are working as trainer or data operator in the central scheme called Din Dayal Upadhya Kaushal Kendra and in order to involve in skill development the girls were being taken to an apparel company in Tamil Nadu. It has further been submitted that out of 17 girls recovered, 08 were
minors and 09 were found to be majors. It has also been submitted that the appellants do not have criminal antecedents. Learned P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellants.
On consideration of the fact that the victims have been recovered at the railway station itself and a plausible reason has been given by the learned senior counsel for the appellants with respect to taking away the victim girls to the State of Tamil Nadu, we while setting aside the order dated 03.07.2025 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Dhanbad in B.P. No. 502 of 2025, arising out of Railway Dhanbad PS Case No. 34 of 2025 direct the appellants be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Railway Magistrate, Dhanbad in Railway Dhanbad PS Case No. 34 of
2025. Both these appeals are allowed. (RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY, J.)
