Learned counsel for petitioner has rightly submitted that such issue has already been dealt with by this Court in Smt. Sushma vs. State of U.P. and others, 2023:AHC:25223 and Shivani Kumari vs. State of U.P. and others, 2022:AHC:209499 wherein such ground was rejected. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that in the light of Smt. Sushma and Shivani Kumari (supras), matter will be revisited by concerned respondent. 5. Considering aforesaid submissions, impugned order dated 21.12.2024 is set aside and this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that concerned respondent will pass a fresh order for sanctioning maternity leave to petitioner within a period of 4 weeks from today after taking note of above referred judgments. 6. Concerned respondent is put on caution that once the issue has been settled by this Court, that has to be followed in its letter and spirit and, if still there is any legal impediment, same shall be mentioned in such orders, otherwise it will be considered as a contemptious act of concerned respondent.
