ORAL ORDER The petitioner was allotted a share in the ancestral properties in terms of the partition deed dated 07.11.2017 at Annexure-A. The petitioner was allotted 1 acre 7 guntas in Sy.No.7/4 of Joyisa Agrahara Village, Doddabelavangala Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, and 33 guntas in Sy.No.46/3 of Tarabanahalli Village, Doddabelavangala Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk. However, for want of payment of requisite stamp duty, the document was kept pending and

by a certificate subsequently issued under Section 39 of the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, the requisite stamp duty was collected on 30.06.2023.
2. This writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the compensation amount in respect of the lands in question to the petitioner. Today, however, learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo along with a copy of the order dated 13.03.2025 passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer-2, KIABD.
Learned counsel submits that the Special Land Acquisition Officer has taken note of the partition deed and has passed an order to release compensation in favour of the petitioner in respect of 1 acre 7 guntas of land in Sy.No.7/4 of Jyoisa Agrahara Village.
3. In view of the subsequent developments, the writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to respondent No.3/SLAO-1 to release the compensation amount as determined in terms of the order dated 13.03.2025 to the

petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If land measuring 33 guntas in Sy.No.46/3 is also acquired, but compensation is not paid till date, the Special Land Acquisition Officer shall release the compensation amount to the petitioner in accordance with law on similar terms.
