Ms. Menka Raj Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner is presently serving as Assistant Commissioner (Food Safety), Shimla. The case set up by him in this writ petition is that he was posted as Designated Officer in the office of Chief Medical Officer, Kinnaur in April, 2017, where he discharged his duties till September, 2022. Yes. 2 hard & tribal area, petitioner was transferred on 12.09.2022 to the office of Chief Medical Officer, Shimla, however, on 06.02.2023, the petitioner was given additional charge of the post of Assistant Commissioner (Food Safety), Kinnaur in addition to his own duties as Assistant Commissioner (Food Safety), office of Chief Medical Officer, Shimla. The grievance highlighted by the petitioner is that the additional charge of the post in tribal area is creating a lot of difficulties for him. That he had already served tribal area for about five years. Petitioner’s grievance is that he has filed a representation to respondent No.3 on 16.05.2024 (Annexure P-5) for withdrawing the additional charge from him, but the same has not been decided till date. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 16.05.2024 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. 3 The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
