Petitioner seeks enforcement of Rajeev Sahni versus The H.P. Tourism Development Corporation Limited and others2. Relevant portion whereof is as under:- “In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to release the admissible retiral benefits along with statutory interest to the petitioner within a period of six 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes 2 CWP No,13862 of 2024 decided on 27.12.2024 - 2 - months from today, in accordance with law. If the amount due is not paid within the aforesaid period, the same shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the due date of actual payment.” 3. At this stage, learned Senior Counsel for the respondents placed on record a computation sheet as also the office communication dated 01.01.2026 and on that basis submitted that remaining payable gratuity and leave encashment to the petitioner in the sum of 30,04,160/- has now been released in his favour. Learned counsel for the petitioner makes out grievance that admissible interest in terms of judgment has still not been paid to the petitioner. Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that respondents shall pay the interest in terms of judgment in question and will clear entire liability to the petitioner on that count by 31.03.2026. 4. Taking note of above submissions, present petition is disposed of with clear directions to the respondents to adhere to the aforesaid timeline as given out by the learned Senior Counsel. Petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy for redressal of his surviving grievance if any, in accordance with law.
