GP FOR SERVICES I The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN WRIT PETITION No.15209 of 2025 ORDER: The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that without considering his objections to the provisional seniority list of Village Revenue Assistants eligible for promotion to the post of Night Watchman/Office Subordinate, the promotions are being affected. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is working as Village Revenue Assistant and is entitled to be considered for promotion and that his name figures at S.No.49 in the provisional seniority list. In pursuance of the notice dated 10.06.2025 issued by 2nd respondent, he has already submitted objections dated 11.06.2025 as he is claiming better position in the seniority list, unless the same is decided, the respondents cannot proceed with further process of promotions. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services – I appearing for respondents has placed on record written instructions dated 24.06.2025 inter alia stating that in pursuance of the notice dated 10.06.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent, they 2 CGR, J W.P. No.15209 of 2025 are in the process of receiving objections and the same will be considered before final seniority list is issued and no further steps are taken for promotions and that the promotions shall be effected in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1849, Revenue (VO) Department, dated 28.10.2005 after fixing the inter se seniority. 4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to consider the objections submitted by petitioner on 11.06.2025 in pursuance of notice dated 10.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders before finalizing final seniority list and proceeding with further promotions.
