JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 4 24-03-2026 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Paura P.S. Case No. 3 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section(s) 96, 64(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. 3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are accused of kidnapping the victim girl. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 04.03.2025. 5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66159 of 2025(4) dt.24-03-2026 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail. 6. I have considered the submissions of the parties and have gone through the records of the case. The victim in her statement states that she has eloped with the petitioner on her own. In view of the statement of the victim girl, this application for regular bail is allowed. 7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Paura P.S.
