Karim, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. P.K. Borah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel for the contemnor/respondent No. 1; and Mr. B. Deuri, learned counsel for the contemnor/respondent No. 2. During the course of deliberation, Mr. Deuri has produced a letter issued by the Joint Director of Pension Department, dated 29.08.2025 and submits that the order of this court substantially been complied with and that recovery of sum of Rs. 2,14,433/- has been waived and PPO has been issued. Mr. Karim submits that in view of the compliance of the order dated 01.05.2024, passed in W.P.(C) No. 2275/2024, this contempt case may be closed. Accordingly, taking note of the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties, this contempt case stands closed.
