The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Godda (Town) P.S. Case No. 125 of 2025, N.D.P.S. Case No.07 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 22/25/27A/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda. On 24.06.2025 at about 7:05 P.M., Godda Town police apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused persons from the Bethal Mission School and on search, 4.51 grams brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that quantum of seized brown sugar come within the purview of small quantity. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co- accused Ashish Baskey and co-accused Aman Mehra @ Aman Raj @ Anam Mehra have been granted bail by this Court as well as by a Coordinate Bench of this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with Godda (Town) P.S.
