THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY RIMINAL PETITION NO: 6160 of 2025 ORDER:- This CrjminalL petI-tjOn, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarjk suraksha sanhlta, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A3, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.36 of 2025 of Atkuru Poll-Ce Station, Krjshna District, regI-Stered for the offences punishable under sections 20(b)(ii)(C) read wl-th 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and psychotropic substances Act,1985 (for short {the NDPS ActJ). 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, js that, on 28.03.2025, the sub-Inspector of police along with hI-S Staff and mediators rushed to NH-16, Near Pottipadu Toll gate, pottipadu village and caught the accused in possession of 62.720 Kgs of Ganja. The contraband, along with other material, was seized under cover of a mediators report. The accused were arrested and got remanded to J'udI-Cial custody. 3. Heard. perusedthe+ecord. 4. The petitI-Oner herein is I-n J-udI-CI-al Custody SI-nCe 28.03.2025. The quantity of Ganja allegedly seI'Zed from the possessl'on of accused is 62.720 Kgs. Learned Assistant public prosecutor -ha .<\ submitted that major portion of investigation has been completed and there are no antecedents against the petitioner herein. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the Case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A3 on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/A3 shall be released On bail On his executing personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Gannavaram. ii) on release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once ih a week i.e.I, On every Sunday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, till filing of the charge Sheet. 6.
