By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is a Deputy AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Digitally signed by AMARDEEP CHOUBEY Date: 2025.05.09 10:35:39 +0530 2 Director in the Department of Agriculture, seeking a limited direction towards the respondent No.1 to dedcide the representation dated 20/02/2025 Annexure P-7. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been charge sheeted vide issuance of charge sheet dated 14/06/2019 Annexure P-1 and after issuance of charge sheet, the respondent did not proceed in the said charge sheet, however, again vide Annexure P-3 dated 25/02/2021, the additional charge sheet has been issued to the petitioner, but till date, the respondents have not proceeded in the said charge sheet also. In between, on the similar charges, on 30/06/2022 Annexure P-11, the punishment of withholding of two increment with non-cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner’s promotion is due and because of the pendency of the departmental enquiry pursuance to the additional charge sheet dated 25/02/2021, the petitioner’s case is not being considered for promotion. Hence, the petitioner has submitted his grievance before the respondent No.1. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent/State submits that if the representation of the petitioner dated 20/02/2025 is still pending before the respondent No.1/Secretary, Department of Agriculture Development, the same shall be considered in accordance with law within a stipulated period. 3 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the pleadings and documents. 5. Looking to the limited direction sought by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed with a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from today. 6.
