JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH O R D E R 20.01.2025 This is an application for stay of the judgment and order dated 30.08.2024 passed by the learned Additional Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Tinsukia in MAC Case No.23/2020. 2. This Court has duly perused the judgment and order dated 30.08.2024 and admitted the accompanying Appeal today. From the materials on record and the grounds of objections taken in the accompanying Memo of Appeal, it is the opinion of this Court that the impugned judgment and order dated 30.08.2024 passed in MAC Case No.23/2020 is required to be stayed pending Page No.# 3/3 disposal of the Appeal subject to deposit of 50% of the Award within 2 (two) months from the date of the instant order. 3. This Court further observes that the claimants, i.e. the respondent Nos.1 & 2 would be at liberty to file application before the Registry of this Court upon deposit of the said amount, and upon such application being filed, the Registry shall release the said amount to the respondent Nos.1 & 2 subject to making necessary verification and production of the Indemnity Bond. 4.
