The grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal under Section 6 of UP Control of Goondas Act alongwith stay application is pending before the Commissioner Kanpur Division, Kanpur Nagar (Respondent no. 2) and the same has not been decided so far. 3. In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no. 2 to decide the aforesaid appeal of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from date of production of certified copy of this order before him, by a reasoned and speaking order. Till the appeal of the petitioner is decided, the impugned order dated 15.1.2025 passed by Joint Police Commissioner (Head Quarter & Crime)/ Executive Magistrate, Police Commissioner, Kanpur Nagar (Respondent no. 3) shall remain stayed.
