Vs
State of J&K and Ors. .…. Respondent(s)
Through: Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG
Coram:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE
ORDER (04.03.2025)
01. Record reveals that the instant petition has come up before this Court after twelve years and during this intervening period, there was no effort made on behalf of the petitioner for listing of the instant petition.
02. Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the instant petition, with the afflux of time has become infructuous, as the petitioner, who was working as a Contractual Lecturer, is seeking continuance on the post of Lecturer which relief cannot be granted as the petitioner is not working as on date.
03. In light of the stand taken by the respondent, no fruitful purpose be served in keeping the petition pending.
04. Hence, the instant petition is dismissed.
05. Interim directions, if any, shall stand vacated.
