The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the Notice dated:05.04.2022 issued by the respondent No.2 vide Annexure-A. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that the second respondent issued a Communication to the petitioner on 05.04.2022. The petitioner has replied to the communication on 13.04.2022. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner has replied to the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25402 WP No. 8742 of 2022 communication, this Court deems it proper to direct the BESCOM Authority to consider the reply submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the law, within two weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Till the consideration of the reply, the BESCOM Authority shall not precipitate the matter to disconnect the power supply. Needless to observe that the petitioner shall pay the regular consumption charges. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
