By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29/03/2019 for compassionate appointment. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s mother who was working on the post of ANM(Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife), died on 16.10.1998. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment before the respondents authorities on 29.03.2019 Annexure P-1, but till date, no decision has been taken on the application submitted by the petitioner, by which, the petitioner is seeking an appointment on compassionate ground under the policy of the State Government. 3. Learned counsel for the State/respondent submits that if the application of the petitioner is still pending before the respondent authorities, the same shall be decided in accordance with law and the policy of the State Government within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the pleadings and documents. 5. In view of submission made by learned counsel for the respondent/State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3/C.M.H.O. to consider and decide the case of the petitioner of compassionate appointment in accordance with the policy of the State Government within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3 6.
