The Court made the following: ORDER: Heard arguments of Sri T.Yogesh, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Venkata Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for APSPDCL. Petitioner was appointed as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on contract basis in AP Transco by proceedings dated 22.04.2002. Later his services came to be regularized by proceedings dated 07.10.2004 with effect from 01.09.2004. Petitioner has been absorbed in service of respondent utility by proceedings dated 08.08.2005 as Assistant Engineer (Electrical). Similarly, situated persons who were initially appointed in AP Transco and later regularized and absorbed with APSPDCL, came to be considered for the purpose of promotion and seniority treating the date of regularization. Petitioner submitted representations dated 26.10.2021 and 27.04.2023 to respondent No.1 requesting him to extend similar benefit and continue his service and seniority by reckoning date of regularization which are stated to be pending for consideration. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that it is suffice to direct respondent No.1 to consider and pass appropriate orders by accepting the aforesaid representations. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents placed on record certain instructions, however he submits that in as much as petitioner’s representations are pending consideration, the samq will be considered in accordance with the regulations of utility.
