for respondents No.1, 2 & 4. Ms. Shreya Chauhan, Advocate, for respondent No.3. Respondent No.5 already exparte. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-
“(a) Directing respondents to produce the entire relevant record. (b) Appropriate writ of mandamus be issued against 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:29073 respondents with further directions to respondents to provide immediate adequate protection in the shape of retaining walls or by other means to secure the slope of land as shown in Annexure P-6. Further directions may be issued to the respondents to provide the protective walls in a highly scientific manner of such a height and strength that in future the property of the petitioner is not endangered. (c) The compliance report dated 19.05.2023 may be ordered to be set aside being arbitrary, cryptic and violative of principles of natural justice with a further direction to the respondents to re-assess the amount of compensation for the losses already suffered by the petitioner due to illegal, arbitrary and negligent acts of the respondents without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner made in Civil Suit No. 104 of 2021 titled Mohan Meakin Limited Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others.”

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 informs the Court that the slop protection work has been allotted to M/s Bharat Construction Pvt. Ltd.
3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an observation be made that the slop protection
3 2025:HHC:29073 work be executed as expeditiously as possible.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that the work shall be executed expeditiously but it will be commenced after the monsoon season is over.
5. In the light of the submissions of the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for respondent No.3, this Court is of the considered view that interest of justice would be served in case, this petition is
disposed of with the observation that let the work of protection of the slop commenced in or around 15.09.2025 and thereafter, let it be completed by 31.12.2025. Ordered accordingly.
6. In view of the observations made hereinabove, this writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous application(s), also stand disposed of accordingly.
