This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2024, passed in MCRC No. 6535 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Shravan Labiskar, Deepak Kashyap and Sandeep Kumre, had expressed its trust KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Mahasamund District- Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 24.04.2025 has requested for grant of two months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, statements of four prosecution witnesses have been recorded. The case is listed for prosecution evidence on April 28, 29, and 30, 2025. However, due to the absence of the said witnesses, the case has been delayed. Efforts are being made to expedite the proceedings. Considering the circumstances, a request is made to grant further two months time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
