The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 3rd respondent, at the behest of the 4th respondent, has been repeatedly calling the petitioners to settle C.C.No.456 of 2024, pending on the file of the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kovvur. 2. It is submitted that the 4th respondent has filed a complaint under Section 498-A and 312 of the IPC, and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The police, after investigation, have filed a charge sheet, and the same has been taken on file as C.C.No.456 of 2024. In such a scenario, the 3rd respondent ought not to have indulged in such activities and in repeatedly calling the petitioners and pressurizing them to settle the dispute. 3. It is further submitted that a constable from the 3rd respondent police station is threatening the petitioners by making threats of filing another complaint if the petitioners do not come to the police station. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a WhatsApp chat between the petitioner and one Sri Srinivasulu, KPC, Kovur. 5. It is made clear to the 2nd and 3rd respondent to instruct their staff not to disturb the peace of the petitioners without following due process of law. 6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed off.
