Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Devipur P.S. Case No. 168 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)a, 25(6), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Sri Alok Marandi, learned Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar.

Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 464 of 2025 by order dated 23.01.2025 at that stage.

On 23.11.2024 at about 1.20 am. Devipur police apprehended the petitioner. On search, a country made pistol and a live cartridge are alleged to have been recovered from possession of the petitioner.

It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since
23.11.2024.

Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Marandi, learned Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar, or his successor, in connection with Devipur P.S. Case No. 168 of 2024.
