The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bagodar P.S. Case No. 158/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Giridih. 3. Petitioner happens to be owner of the vehicle bearing registration no. JH12E-8647, which was seized by Bagodar police near Telaiya Bridge. On search, 43.604 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that when the vehicle was seized, petitioner was not registered owner of the aforesaid vehicle. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that petitioner had purchased the said vehicle prior to the occurrence from Hindustan Auto Agency and later on, he got the said vehicle registered in his name. 6.
