1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents authorities to consider the application dated 21/09/2021, which is pending before respondent No.3 submitted by the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s mother who was working as Woman Health Worker(Bahu- Uddeshiya Mahila Swasthya Karyakarta), died on 24/08/2021. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment before the respondent No.4, which was forwarded to the respondent No.3 on 21/09/2021, but till date, no decision has been taken on the application submitted by the petitioner, by which, the petitioner is seeking an appointment on compassionate ground under the policy of the State Government.

Learned counsel for the State/respondent submits that if the application of the petitioner is still pending before the respondent No.3/C.M.H.O., the same shall be decided in accordance with law and the policy of the State Government within a stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the pleadings and documents.

In view of submission made by learned counsel for the respondent/State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3/C.M.H.O. to consider and decide the case of the petitioner of compassionate appointment in accordance with the policy of the State Government within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands
