---- 4/22.08.2025 Heard learned counsels for petitioners and for State.
2.
The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Madhuban PS Case No.55 of 2025, for offence registered under section 126(2), 115(2), 308(3), 308(4), 308(5), 303(2), 109(1) 3(5) of BNS, 2023 , pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Dhanbad.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners’ name has come only on the ground that the petitioners are associate of Guddu Sheikh and in view of that nothing specific is there and as such anticipatory bail of the petitioners may kindly be allowed.
4. Learned State counsel opposes the prayer and submits that the petitioners are the associate of one Guddu Sheikh and allegations are there of demanding extortion on the gun point. He submits that criminal antecedent of the petitioners is also there so far as the petitioner nos.1 and 3 are concerned.
5. In view of above and considering that allegations are there of demanding extortion and that too on the gun point and the petitioners are said to be associate of one Guddu Sheikh and two of the petitioners are having criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and as such their prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.
