Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioner by means of the present writ petition has prayed for the following relief:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.2 to correct the name of her father in the High School Mark-sheet as Shrikant Saran Shivhare in place of Srikant Saran Shivhare. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.2 as well as the Principal, Rani Laxmi Bai Memo School Ganga Vihar, Chinhat, Lucknow to correct the name of the father of the petitioner in pre-board i.e. Class XII examination and correct name mark-sheet of the father name of the petitioner and fresh mark-sheet may be issued forthwith. (iii) issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case; and (iv) award costs of the petition to the petitioner throughout." 3. Sri H.N.Pandey, learned counsel for the respondents states that the relief claimed by the petitioner in the present petition has been granted, and in this regard he has placed an order dated 05.02.2025 passed by the Competent Authority, which is taken on record. 4.
