JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH O R D E R 01-10-2025 Heard Mr. M. Hemchandra, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Rendy Maibam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents. In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is being disposed of at the Motion stage itself. At the outset, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for redressing the grievances raised by the petitioner in this writ petition, the petitioner has already approached the Director (Vety. & A.H. Services), Government of Manipur, by filing two representations dated 16-02-2023 and 06-08-2025 and that the said representations are still lying for consideration and disposal. The learned senior counsel submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director (Vety & A.H. Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to the consideration and disposal of the representations submitted by him, she has no objection in disposing of the said representations as prayed for by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions:- (i) The Director (Vety. & A.H. Services), Government of Manipur is hereby directed to consider and dispose of the aforesaid two representations dated 16-02-2023 and 06-08-2025 submitted by the petitioner on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing appropriate order(s); and (ii) The whole exercise should be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of. JUDGE Devananda -2-
