This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2, District Magistrate, Mau to relese the property in favour of the petitioner situated in Arazi No. 2288 Minjumla area 27 kadi (108.35 square meter) in pursuance of the order dated 02.11.2023 passed by Additional Session Judge, Court No. 5/ Special Judge (Gangster Act) Mau in Criminal Case No. 234 of 2023 (State of U.P. vs. Rajesh Sigh @ Rajan Singh). ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2, District Magistrate, Mau to consider and decide the representation of petitioner dated 23.12.2024 within stipulated period from command of this Hon'ble Court. iii) Issue any other order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. iv) award the cost of the petition." 3. Today, instructions have been placed by the learned AGA indicating that on 13.08.2025, the property had been released in favour of the petitioner with certain conditions. The communication dated 13.08.2025 be retained in the record of this Court. Prayer made before this court has thus now been granted; no further order is required to be passed in the instant writ petition. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, and the same is consigned to record. 5. The Criminal Appeal Defective (CRLAD) No.- 1028 of 2024 which was connected with this case be listed before the appropriate Court.
