By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 18.09.2015 (Annexure P-4) passed by respondent No.3, vide which the seniority of the petitioner was changed. He has also challenged show cause notice dated 25.08.2015 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner will not get any relief as the petitioner has already retired from service on 30.09.2019 and no person junior to the petitioner was promoted on the the higher post. He submits that in view of the facts mentioned above, the present writ petition may kindly be disposed of. 3. In light of the facts mentioned above, the present writ petition is disposed of with the observation that as the petitioner has retired from service, the issue between the parties has been rendered academic.
