Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chas P.S. Case No. 130 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 334(1), 303(2), 317(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 136, 137 and 139 of the Electricity Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Bokaro.

In the night of 02.08.2024, theft was committed in Vidyut Kendra Bhandar, Chas. Unknown accused persons took away several machine parts and electric wires from there. The petitioner was apprehended at the place of occurrence.

It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than a year.

Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Bokaro, in connection with Chas P.S. Case No. 130 of 2024.
