Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The instant bail application has been preferred by the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Barkagaon PS Case No. 142 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 21(b) & 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and has not committed any offence. He submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.06.2025 and he has no criminal antecedent as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail.

Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances coupled with the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and accordingly, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-Cum-Special

Judge, N.D.P.S Act, Hazaribagh in connection with Barkagaon PS Case No. 142 of 2025.

It is made clear that the petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the learned trial Court and he shall not threaten any witness and shall cooperate in trial and if any adverse report will come against this petitioner, learned trial Court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail of this petitioner.
