Prasad, Advocate For the State : Mrs. Mohua Palit, A.P. P. -------- 02/ Dated 19.08.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S. Case No. 214 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 140(1) & 61(2) of B.N.S, pending in the court of Sri Alok Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Ramgarh. On 14.08.2024, two persons namely Vicky Sao and Shanu Kumar Rana were abducted for ransom by the accused persons. Subsequently, after two days of occurrence, the victims were rescued. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that the statements of the victims have been recorded in the case diary, in which, they have not implicated this petitioner. It was further submitted that co-accused Prem Pandey @ Prem Prakash Pandey has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.10401/2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. Ms. Mohua Palit, learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Ramgarh, or his successor, in connection with Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S.
