K PRIDHVI RAJU Counsel for the Respondent/complainant: 1.PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein/A2, seeking regular baI'I, in Crime No.1 of 2025 of Pedabayalu Police Station, AIIuri Sitharama RaJ-u District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 111(2)(b) of BNS and Sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2. Case of the prosecution l's that, on 10.01.2025, the Sub- lnspector of Police along with his staff and mediators rushed to Panneda Junction, and caught the accused in possession of 398 Kgs of Ganja. The contraband along with other material was c_--es - -so '-=tb \) seized under the cover of mediators report. The accused were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. Learned c.ounsel for the petitioner submits that basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the case came to be registered against the petitioner herei`n/A2. In pursuant to the confessional statement, the petitioner herein was arrested on 16.05.2025 and since then he has been in judicial custody. Except the confessional statement, no other incriminating material is collected showing the complicity of the petitioner in the present crime. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed to grant bail on the ground that investigation in the present case is not completed and according to his instructions, no`antecedents has been reported against the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has permanent abode and there is no possibility of his fleeing away from the Jurisdiction of the Court. 5. ln view of the facts and circumstances`of the case, this court finds that further detention of the petitioner js no longer required to conduct further investigation and hence, this Court is inclined {o grant bail to the petitioner he.rein/A2, on the following conditions. / ` EEi i.
