The petitioner, namely, Tafajul Haque, son of Hassan Ali, resident of Village-Katoni Bari, P.S. Thelamara, District-Sonitpur, has filed this application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 seeking pre- arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Thelamara P.S. Case No. 75/2024 registered under Sections 303(2)/317(2) BNS, 2023 read with Section 23 of Petroleum Act, 1934 corresponding to G.R. No. 1211/2024. 3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Thelamara P.S. Case No. 75/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 92/2024 dated 23.12.2024. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Thelamara P.S. Case No. 75/2024 on or before 09.04.2025. 5. Till then (i.e., 09.04.2025), the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted to him earlier on 09.12.2024 in said Thelamara P.S. Case No. 75/2024. 6.
