Adv., Mr. Kunal Ganguly …For the State The revisional applicant seeks quashing of Bengal Excise Act Case No. 12 of 2018 under Section 18 (1) read with Section 46A(c) of the Bengal Excise Act, 1909 pending before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court at Sealdah, South 24-Parganas. Revisional applicant applied for discharge from the criminal case. Jurisdictional Court rejected such application by an order dated February 18, 2023. Revisional application is filed in 2025. Even if, I overlook the issue of limitation, then also no case for quashing stands made out. The petitioner was found along with 13.560 litres of alcohol. In such circumstances, I find no ground to interfere. 2 C.R.R. 1819 of 2025 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
