This appeal has been preferred by the claimants for enhancement of compensation awarded under Section 166 of the M.V. Act in Motor Accident Claim Case No. 277/21. 2. The matter was referred for mediation vide order dated 16.07.2025, and now the matter has been amicably settled as per the mediation report dated 06.08.2025 received from Jharkhand High Court Legal Services Committee. 3. As per the settlement, apart from the amount already awarded in favour of the appellants/ claimants Rs.3,00,000/- has also been agreed to pay which has been deposited by the Insurance-Company in the account of MACT, Dhanbad. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of both sides support the factum of settlement between the parties. Under the circumstance, the instant miscellaneous appeal stands disposed of in terms of the settlement. Insurance-Company is directed to deposit the amount within four weeks of the order in the account of MACT, Dhanbad by way of RTGS for disbursement to the claimants. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.)
