The State Of Ap and Others ...Respondent(s) ********** Advocate for Petitioner: Mr.D S N V PRASAD BABU Advocate(s) for Respondent(s): GP FOR ENDOWMENTS, Mr.NVS PRASADA VARMA CORAM : SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 3rd July 2026 ORDER: Present writ petition has been filed assailing the proceedings No.1/4178946/2025, dated 21.06.2025, issued by the 3rd respondent, by which, the programme that was permitted to be scheduled from 27.06.2025 to 28.06.2025, came to be kept in abeyance on account of certain allegations. 2. This Court, by interim orders, dated 26.06.2025, suspended the impugned proceedings issued by the 3rd respondent and eventually, the programme was accordingly conducted. By the very same order, this Court has also given liberty to the respondents to conduct enquiry in regard to the allegations levelled against writ petitioner that they were collecting money for organising the programme. 2 CGR, J. W.P.No.15437 of 2025 3. Learned standing counsel for TTD-2nd respondent states that the enquiry in fact has already been concluded and that necessary further steps would be initiated in accordance with law. 4. As the main challenge in the writ petition is that the petitioner was prevented from undertaking the programme as scheduled initially and that by virtue of interim orders, as the same has been conducted, learned counsel for the respondents states that the writ petition has rendered infructuous. 5. Sri Yeswanth, learned counsel, representing Sri D.S.N.V. Prasad Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not dispute the same. 6. In that view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to respondents to take appropriate action in case the report suggests any further course of action by following due process of law. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed. _____________________________ JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN cs
