Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.11/2025 was registered by Terakanambi Police Station, Chamarajanagara District against the petitioner for the aforesaid offences, on the basis of first information dated 11.02.2025 received from Smt. Gowramma W/o K.N. Ramappa. During the course of investigation, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.02.2025. 4. The bail application filed by the petitioner before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:13930 CRL.P No. 4116 of 2025 Crl.Misc.No.60/2025 was dismissed on 27.02.2025. Therefore, he is before this Court. 5. Perusal of the averments found in the first information would go to show that, there is a dispute between two parties and earlier also the first informant had approached the police and submitted a complaint against the petitioner. Insofar as the present case is concerned though the incident in question had taken place on 09.02.2025, first information is belatedly submitted on 11.02.2025, which is after a period of two days. 6. The petitioner is in custody from 11.02.2025. The maximum punishment for the alleged offences is imprisonment for a period of seven years. Major portion of the investigation is completed. Under these circumstances, I am of the opinion that, the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of regular bail needs to be answered affirmatively. 7. Accordingly, the following: - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:13930 CRL.P No. 4116 of 2025 ORDER The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.11/2025 registered by Terakanambi Police Station, Chamarajanagara District for the offences punishable under Sections 75, 76, 352, 351(2) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC:13930 CRL.P No. 4116 of 2025 d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE NMS
