JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER 10.03.2026 01. The instant contempt petition arises out of an order/judgment dated 03.03.2025 passed by this Court in OWP No. 1123/2018, whereby the writ petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that the agricultural land is not put to any other use except in accordance with law. 02. Since the aforesaid order/judgment was not complied with, the instant contempt petition has been preferred, wherein notice was issued on 30.09.2025. 03. The respondents have filed a detailed compliance report, wherein it has been specifically stated that, in compliance with the directions passed by this Court, a detailed enquiry was made and after conducting the detailed enquiry, it has come to fore that no new structure has been raised on the land in question pursuant to the order dated 03.03.2025 passed by this Court. In addition, it has also been pleaded that all the revenue field staff have been directed to ensure compliance of the aforesaid order/judgment. In view of the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report and the directions issued to the revenue field staff, it can safely be concluded that the order/judgment dated 03.03.2025 passed by this Court stands complied with and that there is no willful disobedience on part of the respondents. 05. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged. However, dismissal of the instant contempt petition shall not come in the way of the petitioner to agitate his cause by way of appropriate proceedings, in case a fresh cause of action accrues. 06.
