Y.G. KHOBRAGADE, JJ. DATE : 09 JULY 2025 PER COURT : Having considered the petition and the doucments filed therewith, we are of the opinion that there is no cause of action for the petitioners to file the present petition. The doucments on record show that after issuing declaration under section 19(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short “Act of 2013”), the procedure under sections 20, 21, 22 and 23 is being undertaken by the respondent – authorities. Since the procedure is still underway, the apprehension expressed on behalf of the petitioners is without any basis and the petition appears to be pre-mature.
2 WP / 8240 / 2025
2. We are sure that the respondent – authorities will follow the procedure contemplated under section 19 to 23 of the Act of 2013, strictly in accordance with law.
3. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
