Case No. 107 of 2023, registered for the offence under Section 364-A of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Madhupur. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2024 and the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement of the other co-accused and the several other co-accused persons have already been granted bail in B.A. Nos. 471, 508, 670, 1586, 5042, 4797 and 8572 of 2024 and further in B.A. Nos. 6751 and 6818 of 2025 by the co-ordinate bench. 3. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegation of demand of extortion is there. 4. Considering that the petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2024 and the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement of the other co-accused and further the several other co-accused persons have already been granted regular bail in the aforementioned B.As. by the co-ordinate bench, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on regular bail. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Madhupur, in connection with S.T.
